Completed Works: Puppy-Friendly Garden

We’re often asked to make gardens low-maintenance and easy to care for, so when one of our customers approached us and asked us to make their garden more accommodating for their new puppy, we knew we could help. The original garden was a mix of large and small block paving/patio, a central grass area with brick edging, a bricked triangle leading into the far corner with a gravel path either side, and a raised deck area. The mixture of textural surfaces and colours was both visually confusing and easy to stumble over the change in levels.

The customers wanted to keep the raised deck area, along with the bricked triangle and original patio, so we took everything else up and created a low-maintenance space in which the puppy could play and keep it looking neat and tidy.

We paved from the edge of the patio all the way down the far corner, and then laid the previously grass-filled space with astroturf.
